The Rogue Wave: A Night of SurvivalThe clear sky was suddenly swallowed by black clouds. Huge waves, as high as the ship itself, began to attack us. “I can’t steer the ship!” Aira shouted. “The waves are pushing us from behind!”
A massive wave hit the back of the ship, causing it to turn sideways. The ship capsized, and cold seawater rushed into my ears. In the dark water, I saw Aira’s hand reaching out, but it disappeared into the bubbles. I felt a burning pain in my lungs as I lost consciousness.
When I opened my eyes, I was in a bedroom at the villa. Aira was lying on the bed next to me, her face pale.
“Are you okay?” I asked.
“I’m fine,” she whispered, still breathing heavily. “I was just a little scared.”
”I’m here for you. Always,” I said, lying down beside her.
On that stormy night, as we held each other, I couldn’t help but pray that we would continue to support each other and live on together.

目が覚めると、別荘の寝室にいました。アイラは顔を真っ青にして、隣のベッドに横たわっていました。
「大丈夫？」私は尋ねました。
「大丈夫よ」彼女はまだ荒い息をつきながら囁きました。「ただ、少し怖かっただけ」
「そばにいるよ。ずっとね」私は言い、彼女の隣に横たわりました。
嵐の夜、抱き合いながら、私は私達がこれからも支え合い、共に生きていくことを願わずにはいられませんでした。
