Here is my story.

We then found a place to sit and I sat between them.

Asa: ‘First of all, …… As you probably already know, I have a sister. I have a sister called Yol. My sister doesn’t look like me, she doesn’t have the same face, the same personality… So, as you can see, we are not blood related. And we don’t have parents either. Our parents died in the war. So the only people we could trust were each other. I told my sister many times not to go far away. I think my sister is very adventurous and likes to be away from home. She usually comes back after an hour or so. …… This time she didn’t come back all the way. …Oh, by the way, you know me, don’t you?”

Koharu: “I only know you by name.”

Asa: “Well I’m Asa Groogle, I’m 15 years old. My country of origin is…I can’t tell you. I’m sorry. Do you have any other questions?”

Sakura: “Why did you come to Japan, Asa?”

Asa: “I don’t like to say much… but I didn’t like the war… so I smuggled myself into Japan…”

Koharu: “What?”

Asa “I’m a criminal…”

Sakura “So…?”

Asa “Japan is said to be safe in our country and in fact I met very kind people like Koharu-san and Sakura-san.”

Koharu: “Hehe… I’m so embarrassed.”

Sakura “I’m kind? That’s not true. This is common sense, normal.”

Asa: “That normal is not for us. In fact, I have been smuggled into the country and stolen many times before. People like that… they defile other countries.”

Sakura: “If that makes you feel guilty, it’s still better, isn’t it?”

Asa: “What…?”

Koharu: “Asa-chan, if you need anything or anything else, tell me. I’ll buy it for you!”

Asa: “Are you sure…?”

Sakura “It’s fine. People are there to support others.”
