English version
I tend to get a bit foul-mouthed when talking about this kind of thing.
Please forgive me.
And if you have any opinions, feel free to share them with AI, Fanchi, JAM’S, or anyone else.
Please feel free to write them in the comments section.
I sometimes slip into Kansai dialect. Please forgive me. (Kyoto native)
Main Point 1: Dealing with haters and the backlash against their posts
(From the JAM’S side)
Seriously, stop worrying about the haters.
Reacting to every little thing is just a waste of time and a hassle.
I get it—I know there are people here who were just about to fire back a rebuttal.
I used to do the same thing when I first started out.
But I’ve given it some serious thought.
To a hater, seeing us get all hyped up—”Woooo!!!“—
is like having someone approach them with manic, creepy intensity to talk about something they hate (whether it’s green peppers, eggplants, or cockroaches),
going on and on like, “Look at this!!! And this part right here!!!”
It’s basically like being on the receiving end of some gross form of harassment.
So, just let the haters do whatever they want.
Leave ‘em be.
I mean, posting hate comments about Mrs. is definitely crossing the line, right?!
I’d totally try to stop that!
(Seriously, we *should* try to stop that, right?!)
But the point is, we shouldn’t be posting hate comments in response to *that* kind of post.
If it’s on TikTok, just report it.
I’ve never seen it on YouTube, so I wouldn’t know.
But let’s not leave hate comments, okay?
Because it amounts to the same thing.
Whether you’re a “fan-ti” (hateful fan) or just a hater.
(From the haters’ perspective)
(Not that you should be posting that stuff in the first place)
It’s considered unacceptable to post hate comments on *that* post, but then…
“So why is it unacceptable to post hate comments about Mrs.?”
That’s the thing.
Doesn’t that seem weird?
Just think about it logically.
Hating on Mrs. GREEN APPLE → Not okay
Hating on individual posters → Okay
What’s the deal with that?
What’s the difference?
I get the whole “they’re my fave” thing.
I get the feeling of not wanting them to get hurt.
Or wanting to protect them. I get all of that.
Well, maybe not *all* of it.
But it makes no sense to get hate just for sharing your own opinion, right?
For example, say you upload a video saying, “I saw a calico cat. I wonder if that means good luck?”
And then people go, “Uhh… okay? 😅” or “So what? lololol”
That would really suck, wouldn’t it?
It’s the exact same thing.
So, here’s what I’m saying:
① Leave the haters alone. Just ignore them.
Let them rot in their own loneliness.
② If you see a hate post, report it or something.
Don’t give them the reaction they want.
③ Don’t hate on the haters.
You’d just be doing the exact same thing.
I apologize for speaking rather harshly, but there are some “kids” out there who won’t listen unless I put it this way, so I’m saying it now.
Normally, I wouldn’t want to make a post like this, but the issue is just too widespread.
When you think about it, it really is excessive. It’s just not right—that’s why I’m posting this.
I’m sorry if I’ve hurt anyone’s feelings.
If you have any other opinions or topics you’d like me to cover, please leave a comment.
By the way, I’m saying this not just to JAM’S, but to everyone else as well.
I hope this resonates with you, even just a little.
The next post will be a casual chat.
I hope it warms your heart.
Though, I’ll probably be talking about serious stuff again in the post after that.
See you then. — A Kyoto Native
