As I tried to get up my lead-heavy body, the floor fell out and I fell. The owner of the shoe, who had seen me, was very much staring at me.

Oh no. I’m going to die. I repositioned myself and assessed the floor. There are various rooms. What is this place..!

Bashan. With a sound, I couldn’t breathe. I manage to rise to the surface, but there is a strange sensation. Am I being dragged downwards?

Don’t tell me… am I going to die? After seeing my sister’s corpse…? I don’t want to die that way. At least at the end, after seeing my sister’s smile…

I fainted. I must have drowned.

The next view I saw was a blank landscape I didn’t recognise.

I tried to get up, but I was in so much pain that I couldn’t.

I twisted and turned, looking for water, but it was nowhere to be found. From the little information I had, I guessed that this must be a hospital. One with an IV stuck in my hand.

As I’m looking around, people are coming.

??? “Ah… you’re awake.”

Asa: “You… are?”

??? “I am Lime Aldokil. You can call me Rime.”

Asa: “Raim… sir…?”

Lime “Lime, I am.”

Asa: “Lime…”

Lime: “We consider you to be a person who has fallen from this world, covered by a membrane of miasma. Is that so?”

Asa “I don’t know…”

Lime “I see. Do you have any memories before you came here?”

Asa: “Well… that…? …? I can’t remember…?”

Lime: “You can’t remember? Then why did you do something that made you come here?”
