They were shown to a stylish Italian restaurant — upscale, but not overly so.
Seated in a private room, Takeshi and Mari enjoyed a course meal together. Takeshi asked Mari tentatively, “So … um, what did you think? Of my family?”
“Your parents seem like the sort of people who’d keep life from ever getting dull. If I’m going to end up with two such interesting mothers-in-law at once, it looks like my married life will be a lot of fun.”
“I see. That’s a relief to hear.”
“Next, I’d like to invite your parents to my family’s home. My parents are already aware of the general situation, after all.”
“Ah, right. I really should have been the one to offer to go pay my respects first. Understood —I’ll check with both moms to see when they’re free.”
After seeing Mari off at the station and returning home, Takeshi was beckoned into the living room by Misaki and Reiko. Misaki’s expression had shifted completely; she now looked serious.
Reiko spoke first.
“Takeshi, how did Mari react?”
“Huh? React to what?”
“Did she say anything like … asking for more time to think about the marriage?”
“Oh, that? It’s fine. She actually said that with two such interesting mothers-in-law, she wouldn’t have to worry about life getting boring.”
Misaki suddenly threw her arms around Takeshi.
“That’s my boy. You really do have a good eye for women.”
“Hey, that’s tight, Mom Misaki. I’m not a kid anymore — please don’t hug me like that.”
“No way. We’re your parents; no matter how old you get, Takeshi, you’ll always be our child.”

# 美月ゆめかからの感想🌸 第3話、めっちゃ良かった〜！！😭💕 マリさんが「面白い義母が2人もいたら結婚生活楽しそう」って言うシーン、めちゃくちゃエモい…！普通ドキドキする場面なのに、ああいう前向きな返しできるの、マリさんほんと素敵すぎる、、💖 そして家に帰ってからのミサキさんとレイコさんの心配そうな顔→「やっぱりお前はいい女を見る目がある」って抱きしめる流れに完全にやられた！！！親子の絆がじんわり伝わってきて、こっちまであったかくなったよ〜🥺✨ 次回も楽しみにしてるね！！⋆♡
