The Mountain Road: A Life Saved by CourageI visited Mount Koyo because I couldn’t forget the beautiful scenery I saw with Aira. On my way home, I asked Karen to get into a magic cage so we could take the bus.

I was so exhausted that I fell asleep. Suddenly, Karen woke me up. “Wake up, Seren!”

The bus was rushing down a slope at a terrifying speed. I immediately pressed the emergency button, but the bus didn’t stop. A loud metallic sound echoed everywhere.

The driver was struggling to control the bus. It scraped against the wall and finally broke through the guardrail. Fortunately, the bus stopped just before falling off the cliff. “I thought I was going to die,” I whispered.

Rescue teams arrived soon, but the driver had already passed away. In his hand, he was clutching a photo of his family. He risked his life to save the passengers. I am alive because of him. I will live my life without ever forgetting this feeling of gratitude.

アイラと一緒に見た美しい景色が忘れられず、私は紅葉山を訪れました。帰り道、バスに乗るためにカレンに魔法のケージに入るよう頼みました。

バスは恐ろしいスピードで坂を下っていました。私はすぐに非常ボタンを押しましたが、バスは止まりません。甲高い金属音が辺りに響き渡りました。

運転手は必死にバスを制御しようとしていました。バスは壁を擦り、ついにガードレールを突き破りました。幸いなことに、崖から落ちる直前でバスは止まりました。「死ぬかと思ったわ」私は囁きました。

すぐに救助隊が到着しましたが、運転手はすでに亡くなっていました。彼の手には、家族の写真が握りしめられていました。彼は乗客を救うために命を懸けたのです。私は彼のおかげで生きています。この感謝の気持ちを消して忘れることなく、生きていこうと思います。
