Why shouldn’t we kill people? Currently, if we kill someone, we are held responsible for our crimes and despised. However, if this were a battlefield, the person who killed the most people would be praised and become a hero. The more different the situation is, the more cheap and pitiful a human life becomes.

なぜ人を殺してはいけないのでしょうか？現代では、人を殺せば罪を問われ、軽蔑されます。しかし、これが戦場なら、最も多く人を殺した者が称賛され、英雄となるでしょう。状況が違えば変わるほど、人間の命はより卑しく、より哀れなものとなるのです。
