The Myth of Eternity: Chronos and KairosI am Selene, the Goddess of the Moon. This is a story from a long time ago when I was still in the heavens. The full moon was shining quietly in the night sky. One night, I saw two gods: Chronos, the God of Time, and Kairos, the God of Opportunity.

They were holding each other’s hands firmly. Although their “speeds” were different—because time flows constantly while opportunities are brief—they never let go of each other. They were drawn together by the threads of fate, crossing the wall of time.

Finally, the moment arrived. Under the moonlight in the quiet hall, they looked into each other’s eyes and kissed. It felt as if the time of the whole world had stopped. Tears ran down my cheeks. Love had united Time and Opportunity. As the Goddess of the Moon, I closed my eyes and prayed for their eternal happiness.
