The Moon over the Torrent: A Silent Vow”The dam is going to break!” Karen shouted. I followed her to a giant dam above a small town. I immediately ran to the town leader’s house and warned him to evacuate. However, he closed the door and ignored me.

I shouted to the townspeople, “Run! The dam is breaking!” but they just looked down and didn’t move. Suddenly, the ground began to shake. “Something is wrong! Let’s get to the cliff!” Karen said.

From the cliff, we watched as the mudflow swallowed the town in an instant.

”Why didn’t they run?” I cried.

At that moment, a mysterious girl appeared. “Those people decided to stay and take responsibility for their failure to protect the dam,” she said. “It’s not your fault, Selene.”

Facing the cold wind and the rushing water that night, I made a decision. As long as the sun exists, I will be the moon that shines on people in the dark.

●全訳：濁流の上の月：静かな誓い●

「ダムが決壊する！」カレンが叫びました。私は彼女の後を追い、小さな町の上にある巨大なダムへと向かいました。私はすぐに町の長老の家へ駆け込み、避難するように警告しました。しかし、彼はドアを閉め、私の言葉を無視したのです。
