Light in the Mist: A Promise to the FallenI was traveling with Karen. Suddenly, Karen smelled blood and led me to a woman leaning against a wall. Her clothes were covered in blood.

“My husband is trapped in a hut on the mountain,” she whispered.

I used my magic to send her to a safe hotel and headed for the mountain with Karen.

The mountain was covered in thick mist. We found a small hut and entered it. A criminal tried to attack us, but I immediately used magic to make him fall asleep. I rescued the man inside and sent him to the hotel.

At that moment, we heard a faint scream from the deep forest. We rushed to the spot and found a young girl who had been brutally attacked. I desperately used my healing magic, pouring all my power into her small body. However, she stopped breathing in my arms.

My heart felt like it was breaking, but I wiped my tears and buried her on the mountain. I couldn’t save her, but I decided to see the world that she should have seen. My determination is the only light in this cold mist. I will survive and keep moving forward.

胸が張り裂けそうでしたが、私は涙を拭い、彼女を山に埋葬しました。彼女を救うことはできませんでしたが、彼女が見るはずだった世界を、私が代わりに見ていこうと決めました。この冷たい霧の中で、私の決意だけが光っています。私は生き抜き、前へと進み続けます。
