The Bleeding Earl: A Victorian TragedyI woke up in a grand mansion. A maid greeted me, “Breakfast is served in the morning room.” I felt uncomfortable because my corset was very tight. After breakfast, a butler rushed in. “The Earl is bleeding, and we cannot stop it!”

I hurried to the Earl. Blood was flowing continuously from his wound. “Is he unable to stop bleeding naturally?” I wondered. I used a cloth to apply pressure and cooled the wound with ice water created by my magic. The Earl smiled and said, “You are a comfort to me.” However, the servants looked at me with cold eyes while holding their Bibles.

A few days later, during a storm, the Earl’s condition became worse. His skin had dark purple spots, and his joints were swollen. This was internal bleeding. Although I tried everything to save him, he passed away from loss of blood.

The doctor was only sketching the body, and the servants were collecting the melted ice water as “holy water.” Suddenly, someone hit me on the back of my head. I fell to the floor and lost consciousness.

数日後、嵐の中で伯爵の状態が悪化しました。彼の肌には紫黒い斑点があり、関節は腫れ上がっていました。これは内部出血でした。彼を救うためにあらゆる手を尽くしましたが、彼は失血のために息を引き取りました。

医師は遺体をスケッチしているだけで、使用人たちは溶けた氷水を「聖水」として回収していました。突然、誰かが私の後頭部を殴りました。私は床に倒れ、意識を失いました。
