The Shadow in Edo: The Trap of Angra MainyuI woke up in an old Japanese house wearing a kimono. Mion was there, even though he had died long ago. He smiled and said, “I cooked dinner for us.” I knew this was a fake world, but the time spent with him was so happy.

However, the peace was suddenly broken. Mion began to suffer from cholera, which was called “Korori” at that time. His skin turned pale and his hands became cold as ice. I tried to use my magic to save him, but my power was sealed. Mion whispered, “I love you,” and passed away again.

When I was praying at his grave, someone put a sack over my head. It was the evil god, Angra Mainyu. She laughed and said, “Love is beautiful, so it sounds great when it breaks.” She had planned all this despair just to enjoy my suffering. I stared at her and whispered, “I will never forgive you.”

私は着物を着て、古い日本家屋で目が覚めました。ずっと前に亡くなったはずのミオンがそこにいました。彼は微笑んで「夕飯を作ったよ」と言いました。これが偽物の世界だと分かっていましたが、彼と過ごす時間はとても幸せでした。

しかし、平和は突如として破られました。ミオンが、当時「コロリ」と呼ばれていたコレラに苦しみ始めたのです。彼の肌は青白くなり、手は氷のように冷たくなりました。私は彼を救うために魔法を使おうとしましたが、力は封じられていました。ミオンは「愛してるよ」と囁き、再び息を引き取りました。

私が彼の墓で祈っていると、誰かが私の頭に袋を被せました。それは悪神アンラ・マンユでした。彼女は笑って言いました。「愛は美しいわ、だから壊れる時にいい音がするのよ」彼女は私の苦しみを楽しむために、この絶望のすべてを計画していたのです。私は彼女を睨みつけ、「絶対に許さない」と呟きました。
